ABOUT KOTRIC
KOTRIC Certification Center is a professional certification body accredited on March 2, 1995 by the Korea Accreditation Board (KAB), Korea’s accreditation body.
KOTRIC Certification Center succeeded the certification activities of the Korea Environmental Quality Certification Support Center, established on April 1, 1996 from the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, and was relaunched as KOTRIC Certification Center on May 17, 1999. Its principal financial resources are revenues from certification activities under its articles of association. Where continued operations become difficult, including withdrawal of designation or discontinuation of certification activities, basic assets may be disposed of or pledged by resolution of the Board to provide economic compensation determined through mutual legal agreement with registered clients.
To provide certification services on this basis, KOTRIC operates through a Board of Directors, Operations Committee, Review Committee, Director, Deputy Director and three teams with defined responsibilities and authorities. We have secured highly qualified auditors with testing, inspection and proprietary technical expertise across quality, environment, occupational health and safety, medical devices and cosmetics, and have worked to implement internationally required certification systems suited to site-specific characteristics.
