Basic Use Principles
Arrangement of Accreditation Marks
An accreditation mark may not be used alone. Where applicable, it shall be placed beside or above/below the KOTRIC certification mark.
Statement of Certification Scope
Certification may be promoted only for the organization name, sites, standard and scope stated on the certificate.
Prior Approval
Prior approval from KOTRIC is required for any use that differs from the specified rules.
Permitted Use
- Business cards, letterhead, brochures, documents and invoices
- Corporate websites and general advertising/promotional materials
- Certification claims that also state the certification scope
- Plaques and signboards not classified as products
Restricted Use
- Products or the smallest unit of product packaging
- Test or inspection reports indicating product conformity
- Advertising or claims that may imply product certification
- Unauthorized media such as flags, buildings or vehicles
- Unauthorized use of accreditation mark or IAF MLA mark
